Music Assignment coming home: compound meter

Greetings
This week you should see an assignment come home from the music room. This was a rhythmic composition assignment. The directions for the assignment were to write 16 beats using compound meter (6/8). This is a review of information students learned if they were at Jefferson last year and it was new to those who were not.

Please:

• have your child clap and say what they wrote
• sign the paper
• have your child bring it back and turn it in to the music room.
